Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules and guidelines for using the JobTrek Pro platform (“Services”). By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.

1. General Principles

JobTrek Pro is designed to help service businesses manage jobs, communicate with customers, and process payments. Users must use the platform responsibly, lawfully, and in good faith.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Services to:

a. Illegal or Fraudulent Activity

  • Violate any local, state, national, or international law
  • Facilitate or promote fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
  • Offer or solicit illegal services

b. Abuse of Communication Tools (SMS & Email)

  • Send messages without proper recipient consent (in violation of TCPA, CAN-SPAM Act, or CASL)
  • Send spam, bulk marketing messages, or pyramid scheme content
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse any individual via messaging tools
  • Send content that is obscene, defamatory, or discriminatory

c. Payment & Financial Misconduct

  • Process payments for activities prohibited by Stripe's Terms of Service
  • Use the platform for money laundering or unverified payment flows
  • Provide inaccurate business or banking information

d. Security Violations

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code
  • Disrupt or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Services

e. Misrepresentation & Intellectual Property Violations

  • Impersonate any individual or business without consent
  • Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets
  • Submit misleading business credentials or false information

3. Additional SMS/Email Compliance Rules

If you send SMS or email through JobTrek Pro, you must:

  • Obtain express consent before sending any message
  • Include an opt-out link or STOP reply option for SMS marketing
  • Honor unsubscribe requests promptly (within 10 business days for email)
  • Keep accurate consent records for audit purposes

We reserve the right to limit or block communications if your account shows high spam complaint rates.

4. Enforcement & Monitoring

  • We may monitor platform activity for compliance with this AUP.
  • Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.
  • In severe cases, violations will be reported to law enforcement.

6. Changes to this AUP

We may revise this AUP from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
